Trini Riddims hosts show at “Despers” panyard on June 18

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The Trini Riddims Cultural Tours will launch its tourism initiative at the Desperadoes Panyard, Tragarete Road, Port of Spain, on June 18 with a free concert. The initiative is geared toward bringing all aspects of Trinidad and Tobago's culture as well as artisans to the forefront of the tourism industry.

A packed six hours of entertainment will feature the 2011 Calypso Monarch Karene Asche, conscious lyrics by Mr King, Desperadoes Steel Orchestra, Laventille Rhythm Section, Roadblock Steel Orchestra, Shazzie of the Workshop868 Band who will perform the Dholakman, Caribbean Steelpan Connextion Ensemble and comedian Knuts Landing.

....The founder of Trini Riddims, Curtis Edwards, has over 40 years in the cultural arena.
