Tuner and Panist Wilfred Harris, fondly known as ‘Harro’ has passed

A message from: Clevoy Depradine

Announce the passing of another cultural icon, Wilfred Harris, fondly known as ‘Harro’ - He was one of a kind....an authentic Grenadian Pan Tuner. His instruments were skillfully crafted, tonal quality exemplary. Harro was also a pannist and played with great panache as a member of the ‘Wayside City Symphony’. In 2015 Angel Harps recognized Harro at their 50th Anniversary as an outstanding stalwart for his contribution to the art form. Condolences to his family and loved ones; may his name be forever etched on every rim of the steel drums and on every note played on this 21st Century creation - From sharps to flats, calypsos to classics - May his soul R.I.P.
