Silver Stars was hired by Russel Charter whose Gulliver Travels won Band of the Year. It was not Silver Stars the steel orchestra who won.
Trinidad All Stars is Band of the Year 2014.

Anything is possible, but I have to say these two records will hold in our lifetime.
As far as Mr. Russell Charter vs Silver Stars, don't forget that they placed 2nd in 1964. If there was discontentment between them, why did the partnership continued in 1964?
FYI :Silver Stars NEVER won band of the year. Russel Charter won the band of the year with music provided by Silver Stars
