  • His repertoire will never fade away in the pan world. He always told a story that gripped you with humour and history of Trinidad in the early 50's and 60's. For the moments I spent with him, they will be cherished. The two songs I liked the most that he arranged were 'climb every mountain' and 'don't come back again nigger man'. His legacy in the pan world will live on  with his brother Edwin's contribution that is in a similar vein.

  • Just thinking of Junior and his musical genius and great love of all things musical. But he also possessed a keen mind and sense of humor and a remarkable ability to paint verbal pictures, whether describing composing or arranging or a humorous event. My husband and I talk about him often. Missing him is a daily part of our lives.
