It have a PANORAMA COMPETITION where they does PLAY CALYPSO in CLASSICAL and all kinda foreign genres. And sometimes for HALF THE ARRANGEMENT they DO NOT EVEN PLAY ANY PART THE ORIGINAL SONG.
Then it have a PAN COMPETITION where they take CLASSICAL and POP SONGS and play it in CALYPSO.
To me, what is REALLY MISSING NOW is a PAN COMPETITION (around CARNIVAL TIME) where the STEELBANDS are required to PLAY CALYPSO IN CALYPSO ON THE PANS.
Ah go have to write ah letter to ROWLEY and BEVERLEY and MARCUS ASH and DOLLY to ORGANIZE THIS NEW COMPETITION.
Yuh know why? Because yuh think we could go to GUYANA and say WE HAVE OIL -- YUH MAD OR MEH LARD OH ... GUYANA have more OIL MORE THAN TRINIDAD ... so why NEGLECT yuh CULTURE ... Yuh making me feel sad ... CALYPSO and STEELBAND is the CULTURE OF TRINIDAD!!!
