What is happening to J'ouvert !

        Is it only me but what is happening to J'ouvert ? Where were all the known steelpans for j'ouvert ? I am talking about Sonatas, Moods ,Despers USA, Radoes ,Crossfire, and Casym .There were only about 7 groups out J'ouvert morning and Adlib was the only famous one along with Panjammers from Washington.

         I enjoyed myself but it was just not the same great J'ouvert with 13-15 steelpan sides

lighting the place on fire.

we were wondering if the 'missing' ones were going out on the Parkway, instead of the J'ouvert... (??)

I did not go on the Pkway but I heard that there was only one steelband out there!
