I am getting some news from the Mecca that Pan Trinbago is threatening to expel the New Visionaries.
I'm not too sure what they are going to expel them from, can anyone with any knowledge of this let us know what is going on?

The high road...........Knock folks with a bachelor's degree........................how uplifting. With that kind of mentality on a "pan" forum? Wey we goin'? Trust me, tune in ten yrs from now and it's the same crap.

I prefer to think that ten yrs. down the road we won't have the same crap to deal with.
When one wants to stand up against injustice to simply grab the $$$$$$$$$$$, it's all for naught.
At the end of the day the panman suffers. The question persists.......... under whom do you rather suffer?
My role here is to remind others that Pan Trinbago is operating without a mandate from the steelbands, their mandate was up 2-3 years ago, so what we have now is akin to a dictatorship.
At this time in the history of the steelband we demand better representation.
Hopefully the powers that be see the urgency of having a well run governing body for the steelband.
WE WANT A DECISION ON JULY 3rd so there could be an election, pan people will get behind who ever wins, this thing has been going on for too long.

Actually, the decision by the Judges of the Appeal Court will be given on July, 3rd, 2014 at the Hall of Justice .Port of Spain. Reference can be made to The Address by Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj on the matter during a meeting held at Silver Stars pan Facility in 2013.
The Executive of Pan Trinbago is trying every possible method tp discredit the names of the delegates who are OPPOSING Them at the elections, by trying to convince the representatives of the member bands, that the New Vissionaries ( A name we have decided to call ourselves, as a group going forward in the Elections), are putting the Organisation into "DISREPUTE"
Yes, not to the Organisation, but definitely towards The President and Members of the Executive committee of P.T., That is why we have challenged them at the AGM which is our Democratic RIGHT. We, The Members of the New Vissionaries believe strongly in the values of Transparency, Accountability and Intergrity. We also believe that the majority of our Member Bands are not getting enough despite all the monies that are been made by the Executive of P.T.
What is interesting is that delegates or representatives of bands are unable to "Talk twice on the same subject" in other words if arepresentative of a band at a meeting asks a question and is given an answer ( to hush them ) by the Chairman, that individual is not allowed to speak further on the question asked. This is in the "Standing Orders" which is read out before all meetings; so one can see we are not given the opportunity to discuss a subject which may need more detailed clarification and be given the opportunity to be heard by the other Band,s Representatives present at meetings. We therefore have no alternative but to communicate through Electronic media, Print media, or Visual.
The Eecutive of Pan Trinbago is not interested in educating the membership of the bands. They have never thaught the representatives of the bands the ability to read, understand and question a Financial report, more than 80% of the Representatives of bands in every region, lack that ability. So, they are happy with that, well The New Vissionaries will expose them and the mishandling of the Organisation's funds.
The Executive of P.T. operate as a Crazed Husband who constantly abuses his wife and children, but tells her ,"Don't Talk about their relationship outside to any one"
