What we learned from the Pan Rebellion

What I learned is that when your opponent is down with a fake heart attack, you never pray for him to get well and get back up. I also learned that Dr. Dolly can clean up Pan by simply holding on to the gate receipts. The Pan Players will not boycott Panorama to save Rolly Polly. They don't care who runs Panorama as long as they get checks that don't bounce and they get their Panorama.

  • Bugs, I hope the lesson learnt here is that a Rebellion has to be well thought out and never under estimate the opponent.

We have also seen that Pan People are sick and tired of being sick and tired and is ready for change. Leadership is needed.

    • Cecil, like you famously expressed on Andy's Panorama experience, "Yuh doh bring a knife to a gunfight" inexperience maybe, lets examine the dynamics that were at play and the cast of characters, the battle continues...The revolution will not be televised.

      • odw, Yuh don't take ah Bow and Arrow to a Gunfight, I heard Andy repeat that in a interview and felt sorry I said it. There are a lot of lessons we can take away from the protest. the battle continues.

        • Thanks, I stand corrected.

        • Cecil: Doh care what ANYBODY say: Diaz and Forteau staying right there for the next 6 years!!!

          • Claude, I still believe that if all the large bands resign from PT after carnival Pan People could form their own organization. Leadership is needed. They can take all the members away from PT.
