With the exception of Pan Times no one seem to be interested in adding anything for discussion unless it's the death of someone, is this what WST reach too? Come on people it's the involvement of our members that's going to keep WST as the foremost site for anything Pan related.

WST means everything to me.....
Firstly, It is the most informative source barring none on all things pan-related. Secondly, It is also hands-down the fastest way to get the attention of His Excellency The President of Pan Trinbago Inc., Mr. Keith Diaz., and members of the national executive, when they are unable to be reached. Believe it or not.

Cecil Hinkson, I share your concern. Does the site’s management share that concern? Isn't adding topics for discussion part of their responsibility as well?
10,000 plus members need to be motivated when they seem not to be. This is both the responsibility of the site managers and its membership. It is this that will create involvement and make WST the foremost Pan site in the world.
By the way, why not ask this question of all members: What does WST mean to you?

WST is informative although I avoid posting, I enjoy reading all the different outlooks. Some I agree with some I don't. WST keep up the good work you provide todays link to all that is pan.
I,ve got the audacity to say it as it is even though i may be banned from WST,,now!!! Doc Lance came up with an idea of getting members of this website to purchase some books whereby a percentage would have been given to support Steelpan Players whom are neglected by the relevant authority,,now to my dismay i was being WARNED BY WST that this is not the forum for such,,should i continue i would be ??presumably blocked/banned,,,,,i was trying to get the info on where i can send a Money Order to purchase at least 2 books,, for i,m living in a part of Europe,,from that point onward i had remained silent,what,s the use of trying to do something for Panmen and Panwomen whom are neglected to this present moment and you are been warned,,,so loging on, reading the topic and remaining quiet, giving my complements when necessary is fitting for the situation,,, ,further there are members of WST that had made positive suggessions for the upliftment of theSteelpan world only to be met with Vindictiveness,,,,practicaly speaking PHANTUM,,,the only person so far whom had presented Blueprint for Pan / not leaving out others whom had added their Ideas to that,,then and thereafter there was redicule,,instead of support, i was also attacked in written form,, i do think that we are all on this Website for the positive and not the NEGATIVE,,,,,,,THE TRUTH,,,,,,Being Supportive and NOT,,,,,,DISTRUCTIVE,,,,,,i,ve always been on the positive side as a Panman whom had learned the hard way of Steelpan Making and this ain,t no JOKE,,, ,i know what it is,,, that,s the reason why many whom were active and vigilant earlier has refrained from continuing further,,OBSERVATION,,,,, with respect for all i do make my point,,Nuff Respect God Bless.
Season Greetings to you and your family Jerome, this is the first time I am hearing that someone was WARNED for what we were trying to do for pan men that needed assistance, if any other member was warned about taking part in this please let us know.
This is one of the reasons I like WST, I see it as the voice of Pan People where ever they may be. We have the POWER to bring about change, we have the POWER to help others in need, if it is by buying a book from another member for a percentage so be it.
Our mission should not only be about discussing topics, we must be able to stand together as one and let our voices be heard, we have to be PROACTIVE not REACTIVE, right now we are reactive.
Thank you very much Cecil and many happy returns,,but i would to let it be known that i,m 57+years of age and am a strightforward person,,The Truth is what i do believe in and wouldn,t lie about being warned by WST to discontinue the conversation, which was about me getting the information to purchase [2] Books from Doc Lance, Check /Money order,,owing to this all plans which i had to pursue and transact this buisness caused me to immediately feel down spirited.,,henceforth i have remained silent,not saying much ,just encouraging those that are trying to do their best for the benifit of Pan apart from this , i have also founded that if we do stop attacking one another,hold one head, being in sync,,, give our support to the ideas of others ,contradiction may arise ,yes but the outcome should and must be positive for the benefit of the Steelpan world,Tuners,Arrangers and Players will all benifit,
Jerome WST has absolutely no problem with Mr. Lance's endeavors. What we warned members about was the unnatural hijacking of threads with unrelated subject matter. We've instructed members to start their own threads or stick to the related threads. The other issue that we have warned members about is the complete copying of and/or posting of outside publications and articles with out the permission of the authors. Only three paragraphs and a link to that article is allowed.
