Well if we have "ALL THIS TALENT": Where is THE MUSIC?

If you look at the NATIONAL SOCIETY OF STEEL BAND EDUCATORS [in America], you will see that all the members are MUSICIANS who PLAY PAN.

NOT PAN MEN!!!

For decades I have argued vociferously with PAN MEN in NORTHERN CALIFORNIA that they are PAN MEN and not MUSICIANS -- yuh could imagine the insults and BACCHANAL.

Then I came on this forum decades later and hear the same stupidness with even more vehemence. But look at the THOUSANDS of PAN HUSTLERS on GIG MASTER and ask the question: Of all those THOUSANDS -- not one of them were invited to be a member of the NSSBE ... and I know why!!! If allyuh don't!!!

If you cannot produce a decent piece of PAN MUSIC that could get some GLOBAL ACCEPTANCE -- I doh want to hear about RACE and the MILLION OTHER EXCUSES.

The least lover of PAN MUSIC in the world got something to say to this forum: The world is dying to hear some DECENT PAN MUSIC but the TALENT among the LOCALS and EXPAT Pan Men is GROSSLY LACKING!!! You cannot play TRINIDAD PAN for the WORLD. You have to look OUTSIDE IN and not INSIDE OUT.

And I am still miffed that so many TRINIDAD PAN MEN live and PLAY PAN in America for DECADES and still cannot BALANCE THE MUSICAL EQUATION!!!
