Reports of PT checks bouncing like basketballs are all over the INTERNETS (like George Bush called it). Inquiring minds would like to know if Pan Trinbago issued these checks to the players as a collectors item. Just asking...
If these checks continue to bounce, is that 10,000 counts of fraud against Rolly Polly?

Wayne Cezair, if you tender a cheque to be cashed and it is NSF they simply give it back to you and not stamped. If you deposit into an account and it is RTD (Referred To Drawer) that's when it is stamped.

From the weeks before Keith Diaz was first elected PRESIDENT OF PAN TRINBAGO -- I knew that he was a thief and skullduggery major. And I live almost 5000 miles from Trinidad and I have not been to Trinidad in over 20 years and I don't ever plan to go back to Trinidad ever for the rest of my life.
(And when I listened to the first interview he gave after winning the PRESIDENCY -- ah say to mehself dem PAN MEN in BIG TROUBLE.)
So how come I could have all that information and the people who living in Trinidad went and vote for that man (twice) without any DUE DILIGENCE and now you want to come on this forum and blame me for PUTTING DIAZ in office and making him PRESIDENT FOR LIFE and for PAN MEN not getting dey check and the behaviour of the young people in Trinidad.
I am telling you again!!! You cannot get Keith Diaz out of office until he dies, despite all the pie-in-the-sky and nonsensical and emotional solutions I see being proffered on this FORUM every day.
This cheque does not bear the NSF stamp of a returned cheque. Why is it considered a 'bounced' cheque?
I heard the banks are telling the players they can't cash the checks and that they should come back on another day.
bugs: ah always hear them talking in America about "a run on the banks" but this morning yuh finally demonstrate to me how it actually works.
But in this case, in typical Trini style, this is "a run on the PAN TRINBAGO bank account" -- in defense of my PRESIDENT, maybe he deposited TEN MILLION DOLLARS into that account and the deposited check has not cleared the bank as yet (maybe the deposit check come from FOREIGN and has a 10-day hold -- he did to New York to seek funds) and so they cannot pay the PAN MEN until the DEPOSIT CHECK clears T-O-M-O-R-R-O-W!!!! Or the day after tomorrow or the day after the day after tomorrow ....
Claude like Rolly Polly only put in the request for an electronic transfer of funds from the off-shore account yesterday. Like he really had planned to keep dem children money.
