merrytonetothebone; U and BEDE, are finally on track, yes, things are only itching, so U scratch a little, the way U two guy's are thinking, "PAN" is going to make it, but you'll have to enlighten others along the way...
thanks for your observation…that's why I jumped at the suggestion to lead the discussion on Music Theory…and all things music for that matter…my apologies for accusing you wrongfully again and please feel free to inject your vast knowledge on the subject, especially as it relates to Pan...
Ey Leslie…I'll call on you to present that later down the road…I too am kinda hazy on Suspended chords...

I remember years ago I thought ah Suspended Chord was , you hold the Chord for another Bar or so, then I came to find out, if it was ah C sus, it would be instead of C E G it will be C F G, the 3rd change to 4th, if was ah G sus, it would be instead of G B D it will be G C D. If I had learned to play a Piano, those things would have come to me Easy but I never played another Musical Instrument.
BEDE; U suspend the G note, take it out completely, and U end up with a Diminish interval, G# B D F, the query was a suspended G, ( B is the 3rd, the D is the 5th, the dom 7th is the F, flat 9th the A, U take it down one semitone or half step flat to G# )...

If you take out the G note completely you will have either ah G# diminish with G# as the root, or B diminish with B as the root,

LMJ, the question you ask, wasn't it a Suspended G Dominant 7th Flatted 9th? Isn;t it the same as a G sus Dominant 7 flatted 9th? G Root
C Sus
B
F dominant 7th
Ab flatted 9th? NO?
The other one that I have listed I will call ah G dominant 7th flatted 9th (GBDFAb)
