Pan semis are long gone, but the debate as to whether or not the Greens may become a thing of the past is still being argued by many.
The usual swarm of patrons failed to turn up, leaving the aisles throughout the extended Savannah area relatively clear and according to those who did show up, seemingly without the same vibe.
Crews like ‘Scorch’, ‘Caesar’s Army’ and even ‘Island People’ were noticeably absent.
Reports by several crews, among them, ‘Caesar’s Army’, of restrictions implemented by the organizers and fees for various things, definitely caused an impact.
Meanwhile promotional outfit Caesar’s Army, created quite a buzz at the Hasley Crawford Stadium after the event.
Bacchanal Road, the event that called on fetters to dust off their old carnival costumes to re-live the Carnival Monday experience, prior to this year’s street parade, was labelled a success by those in attendance.
Machel Montano was even at the event, taking the opportunity to film his video for his Road March contender, “Waiting On De Stage”, much to the thrill of the jammers at the Soca Drome.
Could it be that this may eventually replace the ‘Pan on the Greens’ lime in coming years?

Pan Trinbago was put to the test this year and it don't look like they did too well, it will be unwise for them to continue with the Greens. Caesar's Army is only going to get bigger next year.
