Woman on the bass

This question is for some of the old timers out there.

I was listening to Scrunter's woman on the bass recently and I was wondering, does anyone know what ever happened to her? To begin with, is she a real person? has anyone spoken to her anytime recently? How is she doing?

This past carnival season one of the papers in TT ran an article about her. It was posted on here, do a search. It was very interesting.

Tony I don't know about Scrunter's woman on the bass but I could remember a woman playing a tenor in Despers,  It was a sight to see how she played her instrument, I guess Scrunter had a similar experience watching a woman on the bass.
