WOODSTOCK – During Culture, Arts and Music’s adult steel drum class, students bounced to the beat as they played “Jingle Bells.”

The song had a Caribbean twist to it, representative of the steel drums’ country of origin, Trinidad and Tobago.

Teaching the community about steel drums, also called steel pans or pans, is the main focus of the newly formed the nonprofit Culture, Arts and Music, and with a new space, the group now is able to expand its educational programs.
