Grew up in Belmont. Migrated to the US in 1956. I have seen steelband from the age of four years. It is in my blood. I was amember of the Dixieland steelband from 1954 to 1956. Was also am member of a Steelband from 1958 to 1974. I remember when there was a Bugle played in the band. I remember Rising Sun, Sunland, Tokyo,Despers, Cyncopaters and all of the band back in the forties and fifties, the tuneboom,Kettle drum etc Regards Charles
