Sonny Blacks, Trinidad born impresario, have resided in Denmark & Germany.living in London at present. Have been involved in all aspects of Steel Pan music. Came to the United Kingdom with Dixieland Steel Orchestra. Produced international concerts with Despers, Skiffle Bunch, Pan Vibes. Wrote the History & Heritage of Steel Pan & DVD / CD

Sonny I forgot to mention that I was member of Dixieland in 1954, 1955, 1956 and played on the road for Carnival those years, we came out form Belmont. I was on 2nd pan.

Sonny this is Charles Assevero. We met at Hilton In Trinidad and again at Pizza Hut in St James carnival 2005 with Curtis Pierre. Hope all is well with you. I was stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany in 1963, 1964 with a combat ready Mechanize Infantry Unit, you said that you lived in Germany for a while.
