Chris Patterson resides in Nashville, TN where he stays very active in the music industry as a performer, clinician, session artist, and educator. His musical diversity has landed him work with such noted artists as Aretha Franklin, Canadian superstar Johnny Reid, Lee Greenwood, The Dynamites, the Muzik Mafia (featuring Big and Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Jon Nicholson, James Otto, Damien Horne, Kid Rock, and Shannon Lawson), JoJo Hermann (Widespread Panic), Aimee Allen, Bare Jr., and many others. In addition to performing numerous clinics and masterclasses at schools, universities and drum events throughout the country, Chris has graced the pages of Modern Drummer Magazine, performed twice at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, the Singapore Drum Festival, and the Day of Drums. On Nov. 5, 2013, Chris released his first album of original music entitled “Element.” Combining different musical genres and influences, “Element” is a steel-pan/percussion centered journey into World, Jazz, Funk, and Electronica.
