Hey, what's up? My sympathies about Brian. I think he is the one I taught at Belmont Intermediate School in the early 70's. I will call on Timmy. In the 70's also, when I gave up my Barataria apartment, I organized with the owner for him to get it. But, I have not seen him since then. So seeing him again go be nice. How is everyone? What about your mum and Babsie?
Nah, I ent playin no pan these days, but surely I'll meet up with dem guys and will give them your regards. So, what's been happening with you man?
Peace, Carlyle.
My grandmother and your mother were very close, so quite regularly, I used to come to your home to deliver clothes that she would have washed and ironed for you all. You all always treated me like family, so whenever I came, I would spend the day with you, Timmy, Selwyn, your eldest sister, I think her name was Babsie. The others were small at the time. Those days were really nice and they are treasured in my mind to this day. So that is why I am happy to be talking with you. I have not forgotten. It was through you that I came to know Robert Greenidge and always talk about the evening around 1967 when you both asked me to come go up the hill with you and I refused. I eventually went as a 6 pan player in 1990, and always called your name. I even became a good friend of a very short guy who played double tenor with you. Seems as though everyone up there respected you as a master player. I used to enjoy listening to them. Anyway, keep in touch, man.
