Honestly I wish I learned to play the steelpan especially when my teacher at college was Ray Holman. Finding your page as well as knowing the connection of Japan to Trinidad with steelpan was also an eye opener. The more I investigate the more intrigued I am about our heritage and the instrument that has been the fabric of music since its inception.
