The Culture Minister gave this year's Carnival a passing grade, except for the Dimanche Gras which suffered from what she called technical glitches. And she is not expecting any changes in the board of the NCC anytime soon. The Minister spoke at the post-Cabinet news conference on the matter.
"Discussions are meant to ensure that errors ... are not repeated". Unbelievable. How long have we been hosting the Dimanche Gras show? Why can we still not do it right? This is 2017 for goodness sake! Have they never heard of a dress rehearsal? This whole situation is angering and embarrassing! We should not be discussing whether the NCC Chairman should step down! He should be mandated to step down after such a fiasco. If there are no sanctions, then where is the impetus for change?
