  • ...and please be patient while downloading. First stop the wdr 3 transmission and then wait for 183 MB and 62 MB uncompressed fm-audio giving you the most beautiful music!!!

but here it is once again:
I simply couldn't resist to upload two songs of the concert as an example for the state of the art musical quality. It would be absurd to compress the files, so I give you the .wav versions of the original fm radio transmission.
This is not for commercial purpurses and strictly from one calypso lover to all of you. I hope it won't cost me my last t-shirt.

Concerning the concert: The audience at the first location were mainly big band jazz fans aged 40+... And they were all curious to here the sound of a steel band. Right from the beginning their positive reaction was overwhelming!
And one last thing: If anyone wants a cd of the concert I'll try to do what I can. Just write me an email. Perhaps it makes sense to send one to WST for documentation. But I don't want to infringe any copy rights!
"Thank you for the music, T'n'T!"
  • Tell dem!
  • Andy Narell is perhaps the biggest promoter of pan )both the music and the instrument}.
His does it sincerely, giving all credit to T&T and all the panmasters and pioneers of the art form. He takes no credit but as a musician and innovator he is proud to showcase our music, internationally. Yet I hear so many Trinis express animosity toward the man.
    Please. you haters. Stop it.
  • You expressed that perfectly, I only wish that WST will stream it again....I turned on late...ish
  • Calypso Nights, The Andy Narell Steelband Project featuring Narell, Lord Relator and Calypsociation with the WDR Big Band was out of this world. Immaculate arrangements, exquisite instrumentation and flawless phrasing by Relator all made for a wonderful listening experience.
  • Thank you Andy and Relator for taking our music into a different dimension! Thank you WST. Great!
  • Best music i heard in a long time! Please listen Trini Panmen
