I've been a member of Pandemonium, Desperadoes and currently Renegades. I am a business owner, life skills consultant, lecturer on life skills, a motivational speaker and producer educational and empowerment life improvement literature. I am about improving life. Hey Sandra. Thanks for the props. I look forward to seeing you at the meeting; do you think that you would like to be included among the panelists? Let me know, and it will be a done deal. I've been extremely busy, so I have not been on WST much. Anyway, see you soon. Love, Your Cousin, David/Ghost.

Thanks for the request, cuz. Hope all is well, and hope you attend the town hall meeting. If you would like to be a panelist, please let me know. I think that you are one of the important female voices in the Steelband Movement. Anyway, take care; nice hearing from you. Your cousin, David.

@Leon & Sandra, I am simply thinking that we need to treat with the issues in a sensitive yet assertive manner

@Leon, are your views stemming from a place of deep seated emotions or from total objectivity?  Sandra keep on keeping on love! :)

My Dear Sandra, just for the records, Southern Marines was never on the road or pavement. They were on private property. In front of a business place where the owner gave permission, and we have been using for years. So, when you talk about use of road and pavement, and respect for law. I'm left to wonder aloud, about your state of mind. It is good to know that you have respect for age. I do also, and by extension for the rule of law, and would not take a position that would compromise the members of our Steel Orchestra in the Community of its birth over sixty years ago.I would also not stand for any renegade member or members of the protective services imposing their own rules and regulations to affect our rights of freedom of expression. So if yuh feel we were breaking the law, I too, reserve the rights to feel yuh mad.

To be honest I think a "coup" of sorts is what's needed! There are situations I have been exposed to over the past 2 that you are not aware of that have brought me to this point......that's why i say we have to speak.

I am all for all those things you are suggesting for the year-round development of the band and, by extension, its community........but the present administration lacks the drive and vision to make this a reality..........

My dear Sandra, seems that you like to talk to feel important. I don't recall at any time, stating that the Steelband of which you are refering, was ever rehearsing on the Streets or pavements. I normally try to stay clear away from mad people. So please, gimme a break. Talk to me only when you have the facts of the matter. Insted of jumping to conclusions, go jump rope or something. Today, I am sixty two {62} years in this life, and just enjoying it. Thanks for the advise anyway, just in-case I need it somewhere down the road.

Sandra.....thanks......but seriously....we need to talk...we need to develop a plan to rescue our Band from the blatant mismanagement

How can we discuss further??
