My favorite and IMHO the best calypso about rock and roll in T&T from the early days was the Mighty Sparrow's "Calypso Twist".From the 1963 album with the cumbersome title - "Mighty Sparrow - The Mighty Sparrow Sings True Life Stories Of Passion, People & Politics", -this tune had a rock influenced , swinging calypso tempo, with some sweet instrumental solos, including a fine guitar solo by the great Joey Lewis.This is how you do it,(deceased) Nat King Cole, Harry Belafonte, and other calypso pretenders :)
