I am constantly in awe as to how many steelbands there are in T&T that rise to the occasion at festival time, and produce musical masterpieces. Here is a fine example.From" Pan is Beautiful V", the World Steelband Festival held in Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1988, this is Valley Harps Steel Orchestra performing Carl Friedman's Slavonic Rhapsody No 2.This performance is under the baton of the legendary (in pan circles) police inspector, conductor, musicologist Mr Anthony Prospect.(To quote the Mighty Sparrow,"Shake yuh baton like Mr Prospect")
