  • Dat was ah very good Panorama winner fuh Despers . . buh both Rudolph an Bradley agreed dat 3rd World was robbed . .and should have made it to de finals dat year . . playin Maestro`s  Fiery . .anodder of Pelhams / 3rd World Gems . . anybody have dat tape . . eh ?

  • As I said Bugs..."my best"...only folks like us will remember that masterpiece so many people won't agree with me....Pan in Harmony in 1976 was like John Coltrane's Jazz in the 60's....so far ahead that people still haven't caught up with him...just as Bradley back then and to this day...

  • @bigmac -- best arangement of all time? hmmm... Pan in Harmony is no doubt in the discussion.

    bugs

  • Pan in Harmony simply beautiful ! The panorama version with crowd effects though is rather awesome !!!!

  • Thanks, ODW.

Great  pan music this would remain undiscovered by many if it weren't for culture lovers like you.

    Outstanding!.

  • Sadly, Shirls butterfly, at least two generations of Trinidadians have come of age not really experiencing real , powerful "pan on de road".

    They don't know what they've missed !

  • Nostalgia, the greatest J'ourvert, yup! 1976 down Frederick Street, the days of 'Steelband clash' on the downtown area onward to 'Bomb" competition.....those were the days, still the best time of the Carnival!! :)

My last Carnival in Trinidad 1999, no PAN :( on the road, WHY, WHY?? do these talented pannist have to travel outside to be recognized as the most talented & creative musicians of all time.....we are hungry for the great days of our pan, destressing it is, we all suffer from withdrawals during our Pan Season at home, thanks, thanks for this medium, "WHEN STEEL TALKS, EVERYBODY LISTENS, SOME SHED A TEAR, WE MISS THE PAN YARDS"... THANKS  D.D... for inviting me to join this great site, fellow Despers faithfuls

  • Pan in Harmony...still my best Panorama arrangement of all time

  • I grew up with this album. My parents played this LP all the time. Such memories. Thanks for posting!
