From their 1967 album "Carnival in Trinidad Vol. III" Silver Stars gives us ataste of what bomb tunes sounded like in the days when pan ruled the roads of T&T at Carnival time.Arranged by their Bandleader/ Arranger Junior Pouchet, another one of the pan legends of the past. The sixties was definately the golden age of steelband inovation. This is the era when pan came of age.

  • This is why they are called " Silver Stars" for they are just BRILLIANT.

  • Would love to hear bomb tune Handel's Water Music

Used to jump and push pan  with Silver Stars then, arrangement is etched in my memory along with how it felt

  • And who can ever forget these two classic arrangements from Junior Pouchet?

By 1967, Silver Stars had established themselves as one of the best steelbands, and Junior Pouchet as one of the best arrangers, to emerge from the Golden Age of Pan.
