  •  I originally neglected to credit the arranger of this winning selection, and the arranger deserves special mention since he is one of the more successful arrangers in T&T.

This tune was arranged by Arnold "Sonny" Danclair.

The record shows that he arranged for Pan Jammers for many years, and  won the Traditional (Pan round neck) Panorama competition on six occasions, 1981 through 1984 and also 1994 and 1996 when he co-arranged with Adrian "Spex" Blades.

He is definitely an arranger worthy of note.

  • Well, no one responded to my trivia. The answer is, Pan Jammers. They are the first Traditional Band to get a "beaver trick." They won in 1981,1982,1983 and 1984 with arrangements from, Sonny Arnold Danclair.
    Love ,Peace and Pan,
    Ian
  • this is something grate and in the right detraction, for the penman of Trinidad & Tobago and around the world for the pan movement
  • Iron & steel! Great memories!
  • Wow!!! Skills and Strength!!!
  • THIS IS A PLEASURE TO SEE AND LISTEN TO. IT REMINDS ME OF MY EARLY DAYS IN PAN. SIMPLY WONDERFUL.
  • I think that Pan trinbago should allow the Traditionl bands to play like this without stands.
  • Thank you for this quality video. Despite its limitations I luv pan 'round de neck- one man (woman) - one pan - rhythm section free to jump around and spread the love- nice call and response arrangement
tight performance- traditional pan- live on!
  • Can you name the Traditional winner at Panorama 1981, 1982 and 1983?
