An arrangement from Milton "Wire" Austin and Rudin Austin. Performed at the Steelband Music Festival held at the Jean Pierre Complex, Port Of Spain, Trinidad in 1980.From the record album "Encore Live", which featured performances from the 1980 Steelband Music Festival. here is the Vat 19 Fonclaire Steel Orchestra and Lord Kitchener's "No Pan".This arrangement by the Austin brothers gives a taste of that powerful, uptempo sound that we loved from Fonclaire when they dominated south pan in the seventies and eighties, even before Ken "Professor" Philmore became the band's featured arranger.

    oh gorsh boy glenroy, i know this arrangement by heart, even though I played with South stars and Phase ii, that was a helluva a team, the only thing that kills Fonclaire is speed, the style is very unique, Rudin got sick in 86 and pro stepped in and finished the tune got 3rd place and never looked back since, sadly enough, rudin called it quits after that, i wish they would bring him back, if they have to drag him in the yard kicking and screaming that is the missing link in fonclaire.

    Is this playing way too fast? Or did the arrangement really call for this speed. I remember No Pan by kitch being slower than this, and Kitch always liked it fast!
