Lucy in the Savannah - Blue Boy(Super Blue) 1984.

There was a time when calypsonians sang popular hit calypsos that were also pan friendly and popular with steelbands and their supporters.

Blue Boy's (aka Super Blue) "Lucy in the Savannah" arranged by Pelham Goddard, from the 1984 album "Thundering Soca" was such a tune.

This tune became a "test piece" of the 1984 panorama and was played by no less than five large bands on Final night.
