Nearlin Lynn Taitt was an ace guitarist and steelpan legend form San Fernando, Trinidad who migrated to Jamaica in the early 1960's to become one of the founders of rock steady music, which evolved into reggae.Here is his group 'Lynn Taitt and the Jets' with the title song from Sidney Poitier's 1967 hit movie "To Sir with Love"

  • Thanks for posting that piece of music.I knew Lynn Taitt quite well. I lived in Montreal and he worked with me in producing and arranging some of the songs on my CD entitled "'THIS IS CALYPSO." I want to believe that I maybe the only person with recorded calypso music arranged by this legendary musical Icon.
