PANORAMA FINALS 1987.Sun Valley had a pretty good arrangement of Lord Kitchener's classic calypso , though it was overshadowed by Jit Samaroo's legendary arrangement for Renegades.Sun Valley is one of those venerable steelband names, celebrated in calypso and steelband lore , but unfortunately I know little of their history.Recently , a noted pan historian asked me if I knew any of the back story of this band for the historical record , and I decided to open the question to the forum.Any information about the history of this band will be welcome , and be recorded for posterity.BTW , does anyone know who arranged this tune ?
