As I have stated before, Sonatas is now in double digits (10) in panorama victories. Yohan Popwell has been the leading Brooklyn arranger from his debut in 2004 through 2010. The combination of Sonatas and Yohan is having the same dominance that Renegades and Jit Samaroo brought, and no I am not comparing but merely making an analogy. Just some trivia for you buffs; Sonatas/Popwell has won (4) times, placed second once, and third twice. Their average margin of victoty is 16 points and over 146 ahead of the lasts bands. (WOW)
Congrats Sonatas. I agree with Patrick Ramdoo. The Panorama winners from New York, Toronto and London should be part of the Panorama in Trinidad......remember it's T&T we are all trying to emulate!!! Pan is here to stay......by the way I was in NY for this panorama (in the COLD) and note the E-pan on display. What do you guys think of the E-Pan??
Yohan Pops! Boss arrangement listened to it 3times straight. Note worthy there seems to be a greater number of players playing with intensity and enjoyment, with no media distraction on stage. Something for us to emulate in T&T .It would be great to have all the winners from the diaspora in T&T but I guess the logistics and economics not to mention immigration stories would be a challenge.

Great job.
Fine, big time steelband performance, Sonatas. Congratulations on your win.
