  A classic!  Its his expressive depth of feeling that hooks many of us. On another note, I wonder if Sparrow was conscious at that time  his obesity might become life threatening??  we so often feel "fat" is "healthy-yuh lookin good"!

  video performance in Ghana (from where millions of slaves were shipped) is quite touching.
