When I think of celebrations on this 4th July 2014, I see the people who have had the most impact on my year in a very transforming manner, fire crackers I call them since they bring the excitement to the venues, firstly Pat La Touche whose talents and hard work made it all easier for the rest of us, which includes Robbie Greenidge, Calypso Rose, Vin Cardinal, Carol Charles, Dane Gulston,,Ric Ash, David,Shabazz & Vic Goddard, Diane Du Pres, and my Trini extended family brothers John & 'Fats' Thompson, this year I was also fortunate to meet and colaborate with the intuitive Sandra Blood who gave my father his best birthday present in an article that was published nationally,comparing him to the legendary Liberace. However it was my brief encounter with Professor Liam Teague who held the fort at Silver Stars this carnival and hopefully for many more to come which assured me of the hope for our future as respectable citizens of distinction globaly. Happy 4th July to all of you and continued blessings for the coming years..
