the music of your world,
the icons of worship, removed..
a glitch in human technology....peut etre?
From computation, enslavement, wherein sprung the melody of many,
The I CON is now dead, to be REBORN, again, Life,
Steel..... Music.
Yet! In the silence of that soul, the voice of the people is heard,
music of another kind, seeps peacefully,
within an earthly, gentle stream;
on air,
Two opposing souls, firmly locked, play music, of their kind,
from foreign lands..AFAR - the land of JAH!
As we listen, from the space of TIME;
clearly, steely,
coming,
PAN can be heard;
with stick and metal, bodies,
clothed,
an array, of colours, COME. Pipes of Peace.
Where beauty from this rainbow land,
will allow,
spirits to sing and dance, forever together,
entwined in cane,
the sweetness of that land,
and majesty, displayed within races of the,
mighty Universe,
RYTHYM.

IMHO ...The steel pan is rightly and deserved of its full potential to expose the peace, of the art of Universal music!

It would be so nice if some company or some individual can sponsor a West Indian Steelband Panorama, some thing like how they sponsor regional cricket or soccer. If this is successful then maybe a World Steelband Panorama. This Steelband thing is forever growing and Panorama is its fertlizer. I hope all these naysayers who think that Panorama is killing Steelbands would pay attention to what is going on inthe Steelband World.
Our neighbours in the Caribbean and the the rest of the world are catching up with us, and one day would challenge our supremacy in Pan.
