  • All Stars should NEVER have won Panorama against Phase 2.  I had them coming a distant 4th behind Silver Stars and Renegades!!!   Thus you have the power of BIAS in the judges whether they admit to it or not.  It's time for an overseas panel of judges made up of long time powerful arrangers of steelband from around the world.  Then and only then will Panorama be the World cup of steelband.

  • this win the panorama??? hmmmmm(dissapointed)

  • Can't believe you can't believe, Patrick :)

  • can't believe this band beat phase 2

  • OH GAD---ME BAND WIN AGAIN--A HAPPY FOR DAYS--GREAT --GREAT CONGRATS--"BANDIT"

  • I don't Know why you guys are so shocked this have been happening for years.

  • I heard All Stars captain Beresford Hunte being interviewed as the band crossed the stage and I was encouraged by the fact that he acknowledged that the steelbands needed a more powerful presentation on the roads on Carnival day, to compete with the DJs.

He mentioned amplification, but seemed to think  ( if I interpret him correctly) that it may be too expensive.

All Stars should be one of the more financially able steelbands, so if its too expensive for them, it would probably be prohibitive for some of the less successful bands.

But amplification remains a viable option for allowing the steelbands to reclaim a powerful voice on the road at Carnival and exploring this option should be a priority of the steelband's parent  organization.

This is another area that Pan Trinbago should be exploring, and I hope they are.

  • i cant believe that the televised Carnival broadcast didn't allow any of the sounds of the Panorama winners to be heard.

I have to agree, Total disrespect!
