Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The names of the thirty (30) semi-finalists in the National Panorama Small Steel Orchestra category have been released by Pan Trinbago.
Fascinators Pan Symphony and Our Boys both scored the highest points of 266.5 for their arrangements of “Unforgettable” and “Good Morning,” respectively.
All seven (7) bands from sister-isle Tobago are among the thirty qualifiers.

Yuh believe a judge tell the band manager right after the performance that she "don't like those types of tunes"?....well words to that effect...I wonder what would have been her response if she were judging the Large category and had listened the the Charlotte Street band?
That is why I SO LOVE the Trinidad culture!!! Being the STONE COLD calypso lover that I am, I would have loved to hear what defines "those types of tunes" in her mind. Next year yuh better consult with that judge before you select your tune.
