WITCO Desperadoes plays a cool down version after being judged for Panorama Preliminaries 2016. They played 'Different Me", a Jovan James composition, sung by 5Star Akil. The arranger for this piece is Carlton "Zanda" Alexander.

The race is on and it seems that the judges are finally giving their
Undivided attention to the music being played. It will be a fight between
The top for unless someone else comes out smokin on the big night.
After the tinkering, touch-ups and changes are made we should witness
A reall great show. They all played well, congrats to all
Just want to remind folks that this is a cool down version done after the band performed .
To all the naysayers I say there is a lot going on here. This is a new Despers so listen carefully.
This is high quality music played expertly by a great band.
I'm ridin this horse to the wire.
This is a great piece of music that was well executed. It reminds me of "In my House" a winning panorama piece that was done by Clive Bradly. "Zanda" and Bradly have similar style in arranging music. And Desperadoes always did well when the played laid back music. I think if Despers play this tune slow all the intricate parts of the calypso will come out. This is a winning number depending on how well it is executed.
It is really disheartening to hear some of the comments from certain "pan lovers". This is a wonderful piece of music and remember it's just in its embryonic stage. Improvements will come as they progress.
TRAVERSO: YOU MUST BE FROM SOME AFFLUENT COMMUNITY. WHERE GANGSTERS ARE WEARING SUITS. IT WONT BE DIFFERENT......BUT THE SAME., NICE MUSIC DESPERADOES.... WAIT FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT.
The execution is there. Have to give Despers always A for effort. But they need more to work with if they are to really light up not only the world, but their own deepest selves.

Despers For Ever
what?
Despers, this performance has me scared. It reminds me when Andre White arranged. This is going to be a tough year.
