Dear Bandleader:
There comes a time when we must put aside differences and look to the greater good for our pan community. That time is now; we have suffered and will continue to suffer if we remain as we are, splintered and divided. It is with this in mind why USSA is inviting you to a meeting, in an attempt to resolve differences, unify and strengthen ourselves. Doing so will also, ultimately create the opportunity for all Carnival entites(Pan, Mas & Calypso) in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, to have among other things better a financial standing and permanent homes.
We ask for each band to attend with only two representatives, this is due to the space accommodation. These two representatives should have the authority to make certain decisions on the spot. We understand that there are in some cases a committee which administrates the band, but we do hope that some decisions can be taken on this night. Please come with an open mind.
So we meet and hopefully leave together in unity!
