When Neville Jules left Trinidad for the USA in early seventies, Rudy Wells took over arranging the Panorama Tunes for All Stars, In the late seventies After Rudy Wells was unavailable All stars used four Members(Anthony Guy, Anthony Guerra, Bunny Wells, and Leon Edwards) as Arranges for Panorama. John public started to talk  and say how could four Arranges do a Panorama Tune for one band, how will they sound , and so on and so on, Then Gerry Gemmott told the Members do not worry about what People are saying about Four Arranges Arranging for Trinidad All Stars, One will emerged from that group of four, We did not see it at the time but in 1980 the one that emerged  from the group of four was Leon Smooth Edwards When he arranged Woman On The Bass.

  • earl richards, are you saying that the first time Smooth arrange by himself for All Stars he won?

    • Cecil What I am  saying is the first time Leon Smooth Edwards Name appeared on the banner as the lone Arranger for Trinidad All stars  the Band won, He still got ideas from the others members with the middle and Bass sections. But the Direction , the intro, the change key, and the Pelham Goddard solo at the end of the tune that he put on for the Finals were all his ideas.

      • earl richards, I have the utmost respect for Smooth and the All Stars organization.
