This is a notice of a very important meeting being held tomorrow Tuesday September 23rd 2014 @ Medgar Evers College on Bedford Ave. 7pm.
This is what is taking place.
There is a plan by Community Board 9 and other interested parties to re-zone Empire Blvd from Flatbush Ave to Rodgers, this would make it possible to construct high rise luxury apartments, but here is the flip side, the J'Ouvert celebration will no-longer be allowed down Empire Blvd, leaving us with no route for our celebration.
There are a few Block Associations that oppose this plan to re-zone (for their own reason) and had it not been for them, this would have been a done deal with no reversal.
So all Steelbands, Masbands and supports of J'Ouvert weather you agree or disagree with the administrators of the event, this is our celebration that is going to be eliminated,add your voice with your attendance at this meeting and STOP THE RE-ZONING.

Medgar Evers College has 3 buildings on Bedford Avenue. In which building is this meeting? Also, what type of meeting is this?
