    Basement, lend ah hand with de sound recording nah? All yuh professional too bad.

     

    Your 2 mic recordings from 2004 are still better quality that AD could ever hope to be.

      oh i WISH they would hire Basement, been sayin that for YEARS.

      i'm sure it has something to do with some kinda Bee Ess politricks or favoritism, that they have not been hired for the Panorama job - cause EVERYONE knows they are FAR superior when it comes to recording live pan. i'm sure they would also do a superior job of filming... they could do both the cd AND the dvd as far as i'm concerned.  (yah i can keep dreaming, i know)


      all i know is i'm not buyin SQUAT this year if Advanced does it - not unless i hear that it is decent.   I'm open to that possibility, although i can't say i have real 'hope' that the possibility will be the reality.

      and same for the CD - am straight sick of murky indistinct sound, and worse, the tunes being cut off before the endings.

        I rather wish Simeon Sandiford of SANCH were still actively recording the bands. Nobody comes close to the sonic quality and untouched clarity of his recordings, and his recording of the 1999 panorama semifinals and finals are easily the best live rendering of the panorama stage.

     why cant we get it right with all the best  technology and equipment available

     too

    much connection 

     take gypsy and  diaz out and  u will see  a return of pan players $$$

      Glenroy ah just making sure Advance Dynamic "Do Something for Pan".  They can't say we didn't tell them what our expectations are this year. If they are not ready for "Show Time" - they should leave town and take the "Gypsy" with them!
