Allyuh sit down in foreign and watch some video and make some assumptions about the MAJESTY OF THE DISPLAY of PAN ON THE ROAD with PEOPLE PUSHING. Well all that glitters is not gold, eh.

So allyuh better call allyuh friends down in THE MECCA and find out the COMPLICATIONS involved in getting PAN PUSHED ON THE ROAD and how the PAN MUSIC got deteriorated as a consequence.

And -- please -- don't compare a JOURVERT in BROOKLYN or any other part of the outside world to any PAN ON THE ROAD EVENT in TRINIDAD because the PSYCHES of the participants (EXPATS vs LOCALS) are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Lord, I trying to concentrate on OCTOBER 2018 and the elections and man trying to drag me BACK IN TIME to the SIXTIES. Look, about 4500 people going and get laid off from PETROTRIN and another 675 from the PORT (which they might even close down).

So maybe is time to form a PAN PUSHERS UNION with that big LABOUR FORCE about to be idle. MY only question is which one of the PAN ON THE ROADERS in FOREIGN will go DOWN TO THE MECCA and lead the UNION.

Please do NOT SEND DOWN BUGS -- DAT MAN is already under CONCUSSION PROTOCOL.

  • Honestly, I am NOT the biggest fan of pushing the racks on the road. I believe the trailers driving or being pulled by a tractor is definitely a better choice for to me....especially having a tenor rack rolled over my foot during the recent Jouvert. I understand the tradition and history behind it, and I believe that it should remain like that for the one hosted by Invaders, but generally I think the ideal thing is having it on the trailers.

    Deuces!
