    May his journey home be sweet and filled with music and light. I have wonderful childhood memories of watching him and Boscoe dance in a little house in Port of Spain, can't remember the street. It has stayed with me since then. He was the most remarkable dancer I have seen, so happy to have been able to witness him. My condolences to his family and friends and to our nation.

    Artist/Actor/Cultural Ambassador....a champion of the steelpan art form.  I remember in the mid-90s he arranged for David Achee to perform on pan at the 92nd Street Y at a moment's notice.  Forever thankful!

    WE'VE LOST A GREAT ONE IN THE FIELDS OF DANCE, AND ENTERTAINMENT IN GENERAL.  YOU WILL BE MISSED MR HOLDER, BUT KNOW THAT THERE IS A HOST OF DANCERS WHO WILL CARRY ON YOUR WORK.  CONDOLENCES TO THE HOLDER FAMILY.

    A Great Soul has left the Shores of Sweet T&T. Master. Geoffrey Holder. We all thank thee for all you did to make us proud. Happy Journey on your way Back to Your Creator. Condolences to Family - Friends and Relatives. Rest In Peace. Brother Geoff.

    Geoffrey Holder was one of our brightest stars , as talented ,artistic and creative as anyone to emerge from the Caribbean in the last century.

    He was a handsome, classy, polished Trinidadian.

    He made us all proud ,

    My condolences go out to his friends , relatives and loved ones.
