Diaz: Panorama to go international next year

Pan Trinbago president Keith Diaz says this year’s Panorama competition will be an exciting year for steelband and will lead to the introduction of Panorama as an international pan competition in 2014.

    Its a good thing most of you with the negative response were not around when it was just tamboo bamboo, chances are pan would not have reach where it has today, its an idea people, and all of what we enjoy today started as such or as one of you said "a pipe dream" every aspect of the life we live today started with an idea, so give the guy a break even if its a personal thing with him and some of you, i wonder if the comment was made by a Quincy Jones or someone in tht respect surgesting the same thing you all would have bin jumping all over them the same way.

    Come on People!! Be positive...man never thought that they could get from San Fernando to Port of Spain in Less than one hour..never thought that we could float a ship Carrying 5000 humans.

    What is wrong with having bands pay their way to T&T to perform.Its done with every thing else why not the Pan. Do they have to transport every thing; I think not. Look to the future. Be positive. THINK ahead.

    I don't remember Diaz saying that PT will foot the bill. It's a good idea to have the winning band from NY in T&T's panorama. The bill? That's another story. Who will foot the bill? well....another story. I hope that whoever could handle these stories.

    What is really wrong with Diaz? Is he still Campaigning? .... I heard him Complaining at the last meeting at Communication Workers Hall a few weeks ago that Pantrinbago finds it a financial burden every year to bringTobago bands to Trinidad for Panorama. After 5million profit last year he was still complaining about expenses for Tobago bands and Wire from South appealing for help with transport for south bands and so much more panorama problems to address and he thinking about international panorama in a years time. Nonsense!  Good vision but at this time pantrinbago does not posess the capacity to do such a thing.

    This is a pipe dream. No pan side can afford the large amount of USD to bring a band to T+T for the Panorama. It is a good idea but a pipe dream that we will not winess in our lifetime.
