People on this forum in all likelihood know who Duvone Stewart is. The following will surprise you. Despite playing in more than 17 Jazz festivals in the World... he cannot play Tobago!

Many people respond to Duvone Stewart's achievements mainly with respect to his arranging; but Duvone has raised the bar, not only with his playing and soloing skills but with his capacity as an entertainer.

He commands the attention of his audiences and his interaction with them is better than anything I have seen from any pan player. I consider him and Liam Teague to be the best ambassadors of Pan.

I have heard from sources that his absence from the Jazz Festival in Tobago stemmed from a disagreement which occurred since he was in high school in Patience Hill.....Pity!
