  • I found this chapter in a book called "Ongoing Conversion from Good to Better" by the late Fr. Henry J. Charles that stuck with me and made me pay more attention to what I hear kids say.

    It's called God and Paradox. In summary he said God often speaks through the young. So you have the paradox that God could bypass age and wisdom and speak through inexperience. Part of the reason why God can't always be identified with the brightest and the best or the oldest and the wisest, is that often what we call wisdom of age is just their prejudice.

    Time to rethink how we educate our younger generation, give them the tools to create and share steelband music. We live in a world where global reach can be gained through a hand-held device. There are many platforms available to help them achieve these goals. Their future is now.

    In Episode 2 they should work on the DICTION some more. Remember that everything is going out to THE WORLD now. And ENGLISH is our FIRST LANGUAGE!!!
