It is time we expel photo and his band thieves. They are using our money to challenge our decisions in court.

So, for the past couple of weeks, the burning question has been, whose money are they using to go to court. Since the question began circulating, numerous calls by different people to the former treasurer, Mr Salvadour, went unanswered. Yesterday in court, it was clear why he was not answering. The former executive officers, calling themselves Pan Trinbago, brought a case against Diaz, Mendez and Mrs. Tobey. It is now reasonable to believe that they are paying their lawyers with Pan Trinbago’s money or there is intent to do so. This can only be done through the treasurer, Mr. Salvadour.
Mr. Salvadour is the same treasurer we, the membership, kept on to serve the newly installed Caretaker Committee. Isn’t life a bitch. He turned around and bit the hand that fed him. While I served on the executive, Mr. Salvadour was the one who had leaked information to me about Pablo’s extra salary; Sheppy and Scobby’s car rentals whilst collecting a $5,000.00 traveling stipend; the financial advisor’s heavy quarterly salary; and the executive members’ high honorariums; all of which he had a problem with. Cindy (the only woman) and I (according to them, “a lil boy”), challenged these issues at meetings because he was afraid to challenge those men. When Cindy and I resigned, he told me he was going to follow. Over a year and six months and he is still there, upholding wrong doing. Well, I am now convinced he got a payoff to stay. Mr. Salvadour, you will now pay the political price for your treachery as treasurer of Pan Trinbago.
Let us line the the facts up.
The body, Pan Trinbago, is the membership.
We, Pan Trinbago, elect people to the central executive to manage our business.
We, Pan Trinbago, did not like how they were managing our business.
We, Pan Trinbago, got rid of them.
Because they still have access to our money, they are, supposedly, using it to pay their lawyers and are now calling themselves Pan Trinbago (to justify using our money). Money that is being used to challenge the authority that we, who are the real Pan Trinbago, have to remove them from office.
Nah nah nah nah.. something is entirely wrong with that. I considered myself to have a lot of patience but this is overdoing it. Members of Pan Trinbago, enough is enough. At the last meeting, we were going to make these former executive members persona non grata. However, we thought that was too harsh so we took it out of the motion. Now, again, we are literally, paying for that.
I am demanding that the Caretaker Committee report to the membership:
- the progress that has been made whilst in office thus far.
- who are the members of the committee.
- the status on the special convention and the proposed date, which was supposed to be 28 days after our last meeting.
- a report on the case involving the former executive officers and Pan Trinbago.
And lastly, an investigation into the source of the funding of the former executive officers for their lawyers. If found guilty of taking Pan Trinbago to court with Pan Trinbago’s money, a meeting must then be summoned to determine what course of action should be taken against these miscreants of the pan world.

With all this empty rhetoric about expel, can the self proclaimed chair of The CIP confirm or deny whether or not there may be two persons in this photograph already actively campaigning for the top slot, and the top slot only, stabbing each other in the back, and openly cutting each other's throat?

Compare the support the LBGTQIA community was able to attract for their cause against the buggery laws of Trinidad and Tobago on the steps of those halls of justice, with the support The CIP/Caretaker Committee attracts. Is the LBGTQIA population in Trinidad and Tobago larger than that of the Steelband community? Is this conclusive evidence that when the hammer falls, it will be business as usual, as the antagonists seem unable to mobilize popular support for their cause, which may have already been interpreted by the rank and file Panman as not dissimilar to that of the current custodians? The same khaki pants?
