Claude, I wish the Big5 well but if they fail to address the carnival issue early they will void their existence, pretty soon the guys with the electronic stuff will come on the scene and this will be a game changer, anyone that says they will not affect the steelbands ought to think again. It is possible that they could dominate pan recording and videos.

Earl: I really appreciate your contributions to the FORUM!!! The kind of PAN MUSIC that is MARKETABLE is beyond THE THINKING of the LOCALS. But they are unwilling to put any EXPATS on their BOARD OF CONSULTANTS so they will end up spinning top in mud -- in the long run.

Claude I will have to agree with you said about the marketable music, a perfect example is Marchel and Bunji, they had an opportunity to produce a song with a Global appeal and clean up the place and they made a song about "buss Head"

I want to direct a word of PRAISE to the 5 SPONSORS (there may be more) who have stepped up to support the BIG 5 CONCERT.
Now I know that this is a forum where SPONSORS are considered POISON TO PAN. But that is not the lens through which I l look at the PAN WORLD!!!
